A Ring For Self Esteem
The Brief
A long standing friend and supporter of V, this bespoke project with Mercury Award nominated Self Esteem singer Rebecca Lucy Taylor was written in the stars. Having bought the Audrey Ring for herself many years ago she always loved the classic V style and looked to our iconic designs for initial inspiration.
The Consultation
A true lover of modern Deco design, Rebecca wanted V’s signature style with a touch of asymmetry. ‘A ring for you, from you’ became the ethos of the consultation—creating a dream ring with personal meaning. Rebecca wanted to add some colour with her stone choices and fell in love with the idea of using cornflower blue sapphires. Playing with layout, a mismatched setting of the gemstones added a modernity to this classic design.
The Result
The result is a geometric halo ring, equal parts art deco and equal parts modern, set with a central emerald cut diamond and surrounded by baguette cut diamonds and cornflower blue sapphires.
